Easter Egg Hunt Challenges

A BIG thank you to Wolf and Skip for organising the Easter Egg Hunt Challenges over the Easter weekend. We may still be in COVID restrictions but that didn’t mean the hunt for eggs with family could not take place.

The Beavers, Cub & Scout hunt was based around Hinckley Town Centre and surrounding area. The aim of the hunt was to test out everyone’s skills on reading Grid References as the sections had spent the last few Zoom evenings learning how to reference and read maps. Special thanks to Pets at Home, Hinckley Library, Holy Trinity Church and The Concordia Theatre for displaying eggs for us.

The Scouts hunt was a bit further afield, testing navigation skills to seek the chocolate rewards across country. A compass and boots were required!

As you can see from the pictures, everyone who took part had a great time and was able to practice their new skills.
