Invitation to Buckingham Palace

Huge congratulations to Simon Robinson our Assistant Cub Leader who has received an invitation to attend a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Presentation Day at Buckingham Palace in May.

Simon worked incredibly hard for his Gold Award and also achieved his Queens Scout at the same time whilst still an Explorer Scout. Unfortunately just as he was due to receive both awards COVID hit and all presentations were cancelled.

So, a bit of a wait but well worth it. Buckingham Palace! Make sure you polish your shoes Simon...
