Pancake Fun

All sections of the group have taken part in Pancake Day activities this week. There have been various methods and recipes across the sections. The Beavers and Cubs opted for the traditional hand made pancake mix whilst the Scout and Explorers chose the ready made shake a bottle option.

A variety of toppings where on offer from healthy to very unhealthy. It appears that the more chocolate and sweet topping the better! One of the Explorers however, preferred the simple lemon and sugar option.

Traditional games and some history around Shrove Tuesday were included in the programmes and everyone had the chance to make and eat pancakes...
